Directions

  1. Remove engine drain plug and drain crankcase
  2. Reinstall drain plug and inspect for proper seal
  3. Remove used oil filter and install new filter for this service. Inspect for proper seal
  4. Add entire bottle to crankcase and make sure via dipstick that crankcase is filled to proper level. For larger capacity crankcase, top off with additional quarts of Complete Oil System Cleaner or with motor oil. Note: large percentages of motor oil in cleaner, will reduce the Complete Oil System Cleaner’s effectiveness.
  5. Start engine and let engine idle for 5 to 10 minutes, allowing Complete Oil System Cleaner to sufficiently clean sludge, varnish and gum deposits from internal engine parts
  6. Continually monitor engine oil pressure while performing this service. NOTE: should a sudden decrease/drop in oil pressure occur, turn off engine immediately and contact Red Line Technical Support at (800) 624-7958
  7. Shut off engine after the recommended run time
  8. Remove drain plug and completely drain crankcase
  9. Remove used oil filter and install new filter for new oil. Inspect for proper seal
  10. Reinstall drain plug and inspect for proper seal
  11. Add new engine oil to crankcase, following vehicle manufacturers specifications on proper oil viscosity and crankcase capacity
  12. Start and run engine briefly. Shut off engine to check for proper oil level and inspect for leaks
